I went on a visit this afternoon to our local Amish community and decided to forgo my Doctors orders I bought a still warm loaf of bread and some fresh churned butter. I can feel the cholesterol building as I EAT

oh! your killin' me Jerry,man that sounds good. we have an Amish community a few miles from here also,they grow the sweetest cantalopes i ever tasted. size of a basketball for $2 bucks

Jerry,  I know that feeling!  The other night I made some homemade vanilla ice cream for me and Jeanne.  Like you said...Sometimes you just have to live.

I know I am a lucky man!  Bulldog lady refuses to buy bread from the store... I get fresh homemade bread and rolls all the time.  She also does her own pickling, sewing and other items....  and No she is not up for sale or trade!   devel devel

Yep, went to crockett thursday night and stayed till sunday.  Had a good time despite sweating my a## off!  Got there thursday afternoon and stayed till sunday.  I even managed to place second in the grand agg.  i fired off my cannon on saturday night on the damn and made a real BIG BOOM.  Jerry was there and bunked with me since he aint got a tent.  Lookin forward to next year!! thmbsup

Last visit my brother delivered two cannon...8 lb--let me think ..
