I think Tom is posting that for us to see the good deal located on another forum.  That does sound like a good deal on the .32 Crockett except for the sights.  Would be hard to use in a traditional shoot.

Gene, you really don't know how close to right you are.  DB's motto is "if it has a barrel, cut it, if it's too short, sell or trade it to Bullfrog and buy another".

b - Blow's the tip off it with the first couple of shots....

Well, you see I'm an evil old man who sometimes gets so mad at his forum members that he has to let off steam somewhere or ban a bunch of them...figure that cutting a barrel down is the better way. What really riles me is seeing a post derailed by a bunch of know it all yahoos...whoops!, Gotta have a new barrel now!

Dennis,  I was the one who said we should hide your hacksaw.  So I sort of thought your statement was aimed at me mostly...  ;D

Yeah, the Crocket is a sweet little rifle.  I want to get out and shoot mine a few more times, but I actually am thinking a bit shorter barrel would be nice.
