Title: apple cake

This is wonderful in dutch oven over the fire.....
2 cups flour
3/4 t salt
1 medium apple
3 T sweetener or sugar
handful raisins
water to make it pourable
bake at 350 for 30 min. or over medium fire.

Beth, Now that sounds like my kind of recipe.  The fewer the ingredents the better.

My wife makes one like that but substitutes chopped pecans for the raisins
