Jamminjim ask me to post this for him as his system was hit by lighting and
he will be down for a while. Some of the parts he need are on back order
The Old Salt
Thank you Harry!
I am still down but have managed to get an Aircard for my laptop so I can get in every couple of days to check what is happening and check my email.... As soon as the high speed iss back up I'll let everyone know...
I can identify with you Jim, I have been down for over a week. Just got up and running today. A big power spike came through over a week a go and took out a breaker, my surge protector, computer, and my backyard bug zapper. The neighbor lost their computer also, and the lady across the street lost her air conditioner. I talked to an electrician and he said that was a drop in a bucket compaired to some people. It was apparently wide spread across town.
Thanks for the sympathy!
I am back up now, the replacement modem came in and after an hour with hughes.net tech support (I'm gonna have to learn Hindu - these guys can't speak english) I am back up and running on the main computer!

LOL don't sell yourself short! I am thinking about going back to the basics myself! I pay way to much in internet service fees and had to buy all the satellite equipment, and as with any satellite service if it storms anywhere in a 250 mile area between me and the satellite I don't get a connection....
Hi, I have been out sick for a while, (shingles) a cruel joke.

just get an email to me and i will send what parts you need if i have them.
