Born to a Irish trader and a Cherokee mother. we headed for Indian territory at the beginning of the removal in the early 1830s....always having a wandering spirit..i traveled down south to Tejas. Took up blacksmithing and wrangling horses for a while.I got involved with that skirmish with Santy Anny.
After the fightin ended. i took up huntin and trappin for a bit...Then the wandering spirit kicked in again...So I took off exploring the rest of Tejas and the southwest for awhile. wandered all the way up to the rockies till I decided to return to Tejas. Living off the land trying to continue my Cherokee traditions as well as living in the white mans world. honoring both my heritages.
