Title: Across the plains in '49
Post by: DandJofAZ on June 03, 2009
Found this book in an old tank house fed by a wind mill..kind of moldy, but fun to read..writen in 1850.  Told of everyday life crossing the teritories to San Francisco way back when.  Misplaced over the years, but still use some of the info learned from it when I go camping.  Anyone got a copy??

Another good book with lots of information.
You should be able to pick up an actual copy of it at your local library. That is where I originaly found it.
