Title: We have another brave soul!
Post by: Dryball on April 21, 2009, 12:04:03 AM
This is JamminJim. James needs some helpful ideas on where to go from here. The shirt and hat were hand made by he and his wife...a good start.

I would add a belt, 2 - 2 1/2 inches wide with an iron buckle.

As for the spec's I'm tryin to get my wife to let me go back to contacts.... She's fighten' me on em but I think I will win in the long run... Period specs will not work as my doctor has said the weight of my prescription could not be held by frames from that era... (I am trying for an 1801-1820's trapper in the Wisconsin area look) and without correction I am just about legally blind.  I also know i have to lose the hawkins and get a flinter but money is tight.  I may just move the time frame up to mid 1800's
