Title: Great gifts from Pitchy

Man!  I'm bragging proud of the gifts from Lenn, our Pitchy!.  The beautiful piece of Willow will go right between the piece of White Birch from Connecticut and the piece of Fir from Washington state.

As for the Ulu what can I say?  That is one sweet little cutting machine.  I won't have a hair left on my forearm by the time I get through playing with it.  It's razor sharp!  I know I will have it as one of my treasures from now on.

Thank you so much Lenn.  You have made this ol' man very happy!

Those are very thoughtful gifts Gene...Lenn is quite a guy. I didn't know you collected samples of different kinds of trees Gene....that could be a very good memory enhancer for the trips taken over a period of years. Hmmm. hdslp

Your welcome Gene, it`s the least I could do for those arrow heads you gave me.
I have those displayed on my antique scale platform.  thmbsup

Lenn, for now the Ulu and the Willow will be here in this room... I still have some hair on my left forearm....   I may have to do some more sharpness testing! ;D

Don`t shave too much hair or you`ll look kinda funny  ROFL the Ulu might make a good fleshing tool.

Pitchy.... I look sort of funny anyway so what the heck!  The hair on my left forearm or the hair on my left calf leg always looks bare around hunting time.  Where are you going to find a better source to test how sharp your hunting knives are?   ;D

Nice ulu Gene, ulus are perhaps one of the most under appreciated knives in North America.  I have one and use it often in the kitchen for a number of things.  But it is capable of far more than I use it for.

LOL.... Ranger I have some of that stuff out in the side yard.  I have a constant battle to control it.  Roundup will do a job on it but more pops right up.  The side yard is where I get lots of photos of mushroom.  I have to really watch to be sure I don't get into it.  I'll be glad to send you some of mine if you like.  :D
