heatherhistorian, thank you very much for this thread. Daniel Boone and Jim Bridger are my hunter heros,i think o'le Dan'l was the cosummate hunter,outdoorsman and gentalman. i try to read everything i can on both,lots of stuff i had'nt seen before. thanks again

I am glad you liked it.  I was nervous about posting it as I don't know that much about him.  Not my area of expertise.  However I am trying to mix things up and give history from various areas.  Would you like to ad some info?
