Purchased the CVA Squirrel rifle from Andy this past week.
Communication both ways as to status and shipping was exemplary!
gun and both barrels were packed welll with no rattle and the usps did not mangle the box!
I give Andy 5 starsin all catagories of... shipping, description, communication, packaging and expediting.
Certainly a person to do business with who also has old fashioned values and like me, probably does business on a handshake!

I have a complaint about Mr. Woodchuck! ... The hawk he sent me was AWESOME, beautifully done. Now I gotta git a shirt out to him for my part of the deal, and he can't seam to get measured! And he says things like "don't worry about it" "it'll be square, don't worry" Well, he finally told me what color and material to use... The only time he is in a hurry is to get the stuff you want from him! But when it's time to pay him... Please send measurements.

A few weeks back i made a comment to jetwrench about his new tc Renegade .54 that had a rough bore.. i jokingly said he didn't need a new barrel, i would be happy to take the renegade off his hands.
we have been talking about our similar hobbies and things, well, one thing led to another and i got the renegade in the mail today! no postage due nothing.
Man we have a great guy to do business with here..
the renegade is no where near as bad as we thought.
it is the older renegade he got with a 4 digit serial number and no black powder warnings.
it is of a similar age as my hawken.
I lapped the bore a few times with 0000 steel wool, and it has improved greatly, i can't wait to try it out. there was some minor pitting near the nipple area, but the photos made it look worse than it actualy is.
Now it is up to me to give him some things he needs.

Told him I wouldn't be able to mail out payment until Monday as I was headed out to a shoot on Friday morning, he said no problem. T Handle arrived in Saturdays mail while I was gone. Payment is set to go out in tomorrows mail. I for one, appreciate his faith in me that I would send the payment without fail.

I wanted to give a shout out to Mr. David32cal in Missouri. I just received about the sweetest deal ever on a .50 cal from him and ALL the trimmings!!! This rifle, bag, and everything else that goes with it put me giant steps towards completing my kit.
