Hows this sound? A three gun match...15 shots in all, 5 from rifle, 5 from smoothbore, and 5 from pistol? 3 targets, 1 bullseye, 1 fun, and 1 animal. Now some may not have a smoothbore...use your pistol. Or no handgun, use the smoothbore. If all you have is a rifle...make your 5 shots count as that's all you get! Range...25 yards for pistol and smoothbore, 50 yards for rifle. You can choose which target to use at each range. How's this sound?

sounds good. So if ya ain't got a smoothie you shoot 10 pistol shots, and vice versa? If no pistol or smoothie you only get 5 shots? How about if no smoothie or pistol you get 10 rifle shots. Thats a little more fair. These shot off-hand, or hunter's choice like last month?
Sounds right...if only rifle, 10 shots...at 50 yards. All shots hunters choice. Okay? And one target will be the orange colored one you mentioned, other will be the one that can screw you up royally...haven't found a critter target yet...you got one...with scoring rings?

Any shot hitting the inline is worth 10 points. Also, if you only have a pistol or smoothbore, use what you have for all 15 shots....this shoot is for everyone. Lets see a good turnout fot this one...please?

I know how you feel with the lack of participation these days, but you have to understand how it can be difficult for some of us to get to the range in these sub-zero temps this time of year.
I'm sure the numbers will increase in better weather.
Bob, can we use you as a reference? If so, when do you think shooting season will open up for all you snow birds? We can postpone shooting for all you Popsicle's sake till the weather allows.

I don't think CO should be used as a guide. March and April are our biggest snow months. About 6 years ago, I got 6' in 2 days in April. Yes I said 6 feet. Luckily I had one door that opened in. Allowed us to dig ourselves out.
What about someone a bit further east and north?
