Well Bear Medicine lives in Decatur and shoots out in the backyard.  I play with Ranger Springs Skinners and Comanche Peak Muzzleloaders.  I went to Buffler Waller once a few years ago.

When it gets a little cooler I hope.  Would be nice if we could get together in a campground up there some place with a shooting area near by.  Bull, you might check with the Corps of Engineers at Bardwell Lake.  There's several campgrounds there and some extra land that might be used for shooting.

Fished Bardwell many many times...Father-in-law was actually a Corp Ranger there before he retired...I'll look into it.  Otherwise, I know we have an area available for camping at either of our Mission Outdoors spots too.  The main Area can camp a whole heap of folks.  And lots of shooting space there.

Probably better at Bardwell or Navarro Mills Lake...since there are "facilities" there.  I will check into what is available and get back with the information.  There may be other places maybe between here and where the other folks are that are doable too.
