Well o.k. ...... Its Just a plain ole  roughly b weight .45 Charles Burton barrel  with a Chambers' Deluxe Siler lock.. stocked in maple, stained with aqua fortis and finished with a mixture of turpentine and beeswax.. weighs roughly 7.5 lbs... No buttplate, sideplate, entrypipe or nose cap..  I split out a 5/16 ramrod and flared the end.. this gives it a more slender look.  Really just a fantasy gun.  I got tired of not having one.  Its a perfect cal. for here in GA for a rifle.. legal for anything that I am going to hunt... and a heck of a good cal for targets.

Roy, you brought up something I'm curious about....how was tow used? And does it clean as well or better then patches?

it works well as a scrubber.. I still use patches to do my finish up work.

It may look like heck on the outside, but the inside of the lock and the inside of the bore are shiny as a big box of shiny things  ;D
