Thanks Guy's, Glad to be here. I've been into muzzleloading @ 30yrs and really enjoy all aspects of the lifestyle. I'm primarily a flintlock shooter and primitive hunter and shooter. I'm employed as a furniture repairman for Mi. largest furniture retailer for the last 10yrs. Before that i had my own refinishing shop for 25yrs. I got started in the mid 70's when I took a Brown Bess musket as trade for some work. It was a pedrsolli and shot really well. Next was a CVA "long" rifle in percussion,I converted to flint and have never looked back. I started building in the early 80's and have built over 30 guns until arthritis showed up hdslp. Now I build alot less guns and more leather and accoutrement's and stuff. I do look forward to visiting here

Good to see another northerner on the forum.  Are you in the Macomb county New Haven or the Shiawassee county one?
