Made this gonne today, it`s 50 cal.

Thanks Frank and RB, wont be making anymore for a while anyway.
The barrel is solid one inch across the flats that i drilled six inch for the bore.
I then welded a three inch piece of tubing on to the end for the tiller to go into.
Vent is 3/16 and pan 3/8th.
Tiller is 45 inch long and was made from a heave broom handle, lever is 25 inches long under the tiller and about six inch above.
The bolt for the tiller also holds the lever in place.
Think that`s about it.

I loaded it with 40 grains of FFF and it had a pretty good kick to it.
As usual it blew the match clear out of the serpentine.

Could a handgonne such as this be loaded with shot and used as a shotgun?
