Good news is I got to the hospital in plenty of time to have treatment started and there was no heart muscle damage as a result. Bare with me here, They finally decided I had "heart peritonitis". This meant I had fluid surrounding my heart and too much fluid in my lungs; hence the trouble breathing. And it HURT! Ra inflammation did a number on me. Still no apatite so lost a bit of weight.
So I'm still alive and on the mend if very slowly.
If you lose any more weight you'll have to start wearing scuba weights to avoid being blown away. Are they going to drain the fluid out?
I'm taking drugs to get rid of the inflammation & fluid and they seem to be working as hoped. But it's just an agonizingly slow process. And beat you to it; I put lead weights on a mil/surplus and it fits quite well.
Don't try to rush the recovery process. You'll just need to chill out and trust that your body will do its job and heal you some. I, like you, have come to realize we neither one are 25 years old anymore. You're still on my talk list with the BIG boss upstairs every night. Get well.
