:mini-devil-28492: so I cheated , posted the photos on the traditionalmuzzleoadingcheap , facebook page ! turned out a weapon that was likely carried by some of the first european explorers in the new world , so this would have been during the match lock / wheel lock era .  check it out , give me your opinions !

Sorry, but I don't do any social media unless these forums count. And I would NEVER go on Meta anything.

Took several tries to find the page and then there's one pik of a battle-ax and about a thousand pix of the same CVA Kentucky rifle on a porch railing.

ROFL ROFL ROFL that`s it ! that page has  been up for at least a couple of years , and it`s like no one knows it`s there ! so , whatta you think , decent job on the ax ? there have been refinements since the post , the nuts and the bolt heads have been filed down on both sides ( required taking it apart ) to about 1/8 inch thick , put back in , and tightened down ,excess bolt cut off and the ends peened , little lite work with a fine toothed file , and a bit of bluing to cut the shine ! looks better now !

I like it. Always have liked tomahawks & battle axes & viking bearded axes.
