Title: Golden Means Flintlocks
Post by: Cherrybow1 on July 27, 2021, 05:12:54 PM
Here is a link to a video series from a young man named Tyler that I met at Woolaroc ranch near Bartlesville Oklahoma. He is part of the Mountain man encampment there at the ranch. Tyler builds a flintlock from scratch using hand tools only! Very informative and a well done video series. Worth watching.

That was a great video; just watching his skilled work was something else!  Who is he, by the way?

His name is Tyler Sydebotham. He is, for the most part, self taught but gives credit on one of his videos to Mike Miller (I think that's who it is) for giving him some guidance. His company is Golden Means Flintlocks.

I'll have to keep an eye out for his work.... not many real artisans around anymore.
