Yes, they are just a few I have made.  I think there has been around 50 of bows that were successful since I started back in 97'.  I have sold or bartered away most of them that are on the table. That picture was actually taken for a Craig's list post several years back.

Thanks guys. Making archery gear was what I did for many years...it was a family sport and with four kids to outfit, I had to make the gear in order to afford to go to shoots. ..or maybe it was because I was too CHEAP to do it any other way  ROFL

Those look great.  Did you ever try knapping any flint points for those arrows?

Yup, I have made many buckets of gravel hdslp but I did manage to muster up a few points worthy of hafting on a river cane shaft. I have a friend that will make me up a matching weight set of six points without much effort, so I leave that up to the better knappers when I have the need.

That's some amazing work you do.  If I could bow hunt I'd want to use flint points, myself.

My wife and myself were planning to go this year. It has been several years since I have been a mentor there but I do plan on helping again. Are you the blacksmith that sets up there?

Nope we just joined this year - and went to the members only campout for the day... We are looking forward to learning- she wants a selfbow that she can shoot at Rendezvous, so we will build her one - Mine is a Lanny Tayler selfbow I got back about 2012 and is still a good one for me, I may try and build one next year if we have the event...
