Title: 1849 pocket colt
Post by: topbreak on June 22, 2020, 06:28:30 PM
A number of years ago I purchased an Uberti 1849 pocket revolver .31 cal brand new. It over rotated the cylinder and it wouldn't pop caps reliably. Figuring it just needed some tinkering and maybe a new spring or two I set about trying to fix it. Well after several attempts to fix the problems I have failed and not really being keen on the .31 chambering I've decided to try and off load it. Maybe one of you guys is more skilled with this particular revolver and can get it working reliably. I will offer it at a very reasonable price or trade it for a full size Navy revolver in good shootable shape.

It looks like it has a steel frame, does it? And if you were to sell it outright, what are you asking for it? I have two of these. One brass framed with a 6" barrel that was given to me years ago and has never really worked well, and a steel framed 4" barreled that works lie a dream.
