I figgered this wus as gooda place as enny to start this.
Wake up, everybody! Let's post some muzzleloader photos. Doesn't matter if it is yourin or another person's. I'll even start it off...humbly, of course. At least one will be familiar with someone we all love, admire and fear. Some are repeats, some belong to friends and some are simply flat-out, no-holds-barred, old fashion, country, GONE.

Okay, here's my offering; now where's yours? May be duplicates here but that's just the way this senseless computer decided to treat the photos. More info available upon request.
OK, here's some of mine.
More yet.
a few ,past and present !
I've already posted many pictures of my muzzleloaders, plus many that I just had on hand belonging to others. Now I am going to go out to my shop/garage and admire them some more. rdfce
I'm just now starting to drool. That means we are supposed to keep this thread going.
Here is a Turner Kirkland pre-Dixie Gun Works .45 caplock made in Belgium. The first time I shot it, it whacked me in the cheek :'(
Those "Roman nose" stocks do get complaints from some people. I think it has more to do with a shooters body since many like them just fine.
Penny my Ardesa Longrifle...And yes she does tend to whack me in the cheekbone..lol
The Mistress of London..Uberti 51 London Navy
Oh and the Walker....ya cant leave out the Walker
My pre warning Hawken by TC....
Better and better!
I put some gun porn on the Percussion category of this site, but it looks like it belongs here:
I usually don't show muzzleloading firearms I have on social media, but I thought these rifles might trigger some discussion on the site.

The top one is a Thompson Center Cougar model I found at a pawn shop. It was dirty, but cleaned up very nicely.
The next one down is a Vincent/Ohio style rifle made with a Claro or burl stock. It is a fine shooter, but the stock is made to be braced between the bicep and shoulder.
Below that is a Tom Watson made rifle with a Sharon barrel.
Then is an Al Anderson constructed, Hawken style rifle set up with an Olympia sight for us old guys with less than perfect eyesight.
The bottom one is a mid-to-late 19th Century side by side shotgun.
Some other photos of these rifles:

OK Ok Just to prove that Hanshi, is a good guy, as well as a great Pimp, here is my pride and joy coach gun that he let slip out of his fingers and into mine just after I became the Factor of this outrageous group. If it was ment to be a bribe - it didn't work - besides I gave him over $700 for it...
Okay, okay, time for truth! Of the guns I posted only a few are mine and several are long gone. The nicest ones were built by a friend and are his "personal" rifles. And my Mongrel-built "Rugrat".
And beowulf failed to obscure that H&A Heritage UH he's tucked away. So far I haven't seen anything I would not welcome to my home and throw a party for.
Aaaannd...I seem to recall our fierce leader got that 12ga dbl for a song. His memory on such things is to be questioned. hntr
I'm loving this!
As soon as the latest quilting project gets sidelined/ waiting for materials... I'll get some pictures of the handgun's... And Hanshi is right I did get the coach gun for a song... I just haven't finished it yet.... :mini-devil-28492:
AHEM!
