Title: New 1800-1820's Persona
Post by: Watauga on January 29, 2020, 10:49:57 PM
I have been working on and Putting together [hmm] an 1800-1820's Persona For Mississinewa 1812 and the Siege of Fort Wayne events I attend.   hdslp  Clothing really started to change in the 1790's and the Beaver Top hat helped fuel a big part of the Fur Trade...  hntr   I have picked up the Tailcoat on Ebay and ordered the Top Hat from Amazon...Finding A Top Hat Localy is impossible is seams  ROFL The waistcoat is a Rev war type with the front turned into a 1810 type look.  I already had some Rev war shirts that will work and the Trousers will work for 1780's 1820's So unless a thread Counter gets me,  pnic I am good after spending a little less than $100.00 for an 1800-1820's Persona thmbsup  A correct waistcoat will set me back another $80.00 and some slightly more modern Shoes or Boots any place from $150.00 to $350.00 so I am waiting  for Trade blankets and Trade show Deals and in no hurry... Because that is how to do it!  Traditional Muzzleloading on the Cheap is also best!!

I wouldn't worry. I have shirts, pants and even socks that are 40 years old.  ;D

(susp) Santa!  Why didn't you stop over at my house Christmas eve??  And where's the red snow suit?  santa

My persona used to be a poora$@#&% country boy of the 1960s.  I did, however, upgrade it.
Here are the three phases I went through to get to my current persona.

cuch I do not ride anything that has 4 legs!  I can't even ride a bicycle now; I'm lucky to walk and not fall down.....and that's without even taking a drink!  srndr

I guess I was in my 30s before I could grow a beard.  Now I can and it's all gray, but nothing like yours.
