After almost 4 years of patiently waiting, my custom Brant Selb Hawken is DONE!!!! .58 cal, 36" tapered Rice barrel, Ron Long lock, Long designed triggers, and a spectacular piece of wood!!!! My rondy partner and I will be headed to Bend, Or later this week to bring her home, AND sample a few of the 28 breweries in Bend.  ;D  chrrs chrrs chrrs

Looks like a beauty!   Congrats to you and also for your patience!  Wow! 4 years for me to wait would be a challenge in itself.   

At my age and health, I only buy ripe bananas these days!

Let us know how it shoots. If it shoots as good as it looks it will be a VERY FINE rifle.

Nice - looking for the range report!

Of course you remember the #1 Rule around here - Red Badger must inspect all new firearms to insure they are safe for the members to use...   :mini-devil-28492:   I will expect you to send it to me after you take some photos!  I will be waiting for the package so I can test it out for you   whipping

I am off to Bend early tomorrow to pick her up. I'm looking forward to the road trip almost as much as the new rifle.

I'd like to get a custom rifle with a swamped barrel in .54 cal. but at 76 yrs. old, I couldn't wait 4 years.

That reminds me of a joke. Guy goes to the oncologist and is told, "You only have 6 mos. to live". The guy responds, "But Doc I can't possibly get you paid off in 6 months." The doc answers, "In that case I'll give you 2 years."  &)
