Post by: woody on September 13, 2019, 07:12:11 PM
My latest build represents a American built fowler/Trade gun, based on the William Wilson trade gun in (For Trade and Treaty, pages 135-138), using a mix of French & English parts and influence. 42 inch .62 cal. tapered round Netting barrel, Chambers "Early Ketland lock, hand forged butt plate, trigger plate and trigger, commercial French trigger guard, and hand made side plate.

Okay now, I really like that.  The gun appeals to me on a couple of levels.  Amazing work.

Amazing as always Woody! You are inspiring me to get back into the "build" mode and maybe even complete a couple of projects I started but put aside. Thanks for sharing.
