just did this one ! white oak , antique brass tacks ,the blade is made from an antique sheep shear , the wheel and stripes are burnt in , and that is a human hair scalp lock ! finished it up yesterday ! total length is just about 27 inch`s ! had the urge to do one !
Very nice but You might add an OLD human hair scalp lock. The white hair gives it away. :o ;D
I like it. I've been thinking of trying to cobble up one, myself. It's great that you do your own scalping. [hmm]
I like it overall and it would no doubt do some major damage in a close quarter combat scenario. However, it looks a bit chunky and maybe a bit awkward during a recovery move. Of course, this is just my uniformed observations based on limited knowledge.
Whoever or whatever gets hit with that probably won't need hitting again. Good job.

it`s only an inch thick ,and four inch`s wide at the widest point ! weighs in at just over 1 pound !
It just looks evil and I like it

When I see a war club, it brings me back to the movie " The Last of the Mohicans", and Chingachgook. He, Russell Meaney, wielded his war club with precision, deadly precision. But then it is a Hollywood production. Still in real life, I am sure the war club was a go to close combat weapon. Even though the war club looks to be awkward, balanced properly it would be devastating to an opponent.
Well done beowulf. thmbsup

Just goes to show how important perspective is! On my phone's screen your war club looks quite different than what it is in reality.
I too imagine the fight scene in Last of the Mohican s with that club.
