In today's newspaper on the obituary page was a sad, to me at any rate, announcement of the passing of Nokie Edwards, a founding member of The Ventures and a hero of mine. I still have, and treasure, their very first album, "Walk, Don't Run". I have many more of their vinyls and treasure each one. They were my idols back in the 60s when I played in a dance band. RIP, Nokie.
