Title: 20 GRAMS of powder
Post by: zimmerstutzen on October 31, 2017, 08:40:08 PM
I have a 10 ga German Boller pistol.  One Maker of such pistols suggests a load of 20 grams of Boller powder.  That's a load of a little over 300 grains.  I don't know if the German Bo9ller powder, made by Wano, is comparable with our powders, for instance Goex 1f or cannon grade.   I have fired loads of 200 grains of 1fg with fibre shot gun wads on top the powder.  It make a load report that echos off the hill sides here.   Any German members here able to answer how they compare?

Oh before my friends here get upset over that much powder in a pistol, keep in mind that the barrel wall thickness is 3/4 inch.    Not your average pistol.  It weighs nearly ten pounds and came with a sling.
