I just bought a Cub which is the same thing as a Scout only with patch box etc. for about $200 less than those guys want for the less expensive Scout.  I like DGW, fast shipping, good customer service and fair prices. Now I've spent my $0.02

Their shop is about 45 miles from where I live.  I went in their shop a year or two ago.  I wasn't a bit impressed.  They had a big selection but they weren't a bit friendly.  They acted like they didn't care if they sold me a gun or not.  May be they thought this poor country boy couldn't afford their merchandise.   I thought their guns were a bit pricey.  That was my one and done visit with them.  They probably have the best selection of muzzleloaders and accessories of any store in this area, but I can do better at DGW or TOW and pay shipping.

my thought exactly ,  the one I like is the frontier deluxe flinter ! it`s the same as the custom model hatfield , and close to the price that model hatfield went for .  I had the standard hatfield squirrel rifle in .50 caliber flint with a grade four curly maple stock . bought it through a friend who was a dealer for hatfield , got it for $450 . 200 less than the pedersoli sells for at most stores ! half what cherry`s asks for the same with a walnut stock .  but the semi custom with patchbox and nose cap was close to the price these guys ask for the same rifle from pedersoli !   cant believe how much they`ve all gone up ! last time I bought a 51 navy colt with a steel frame I paid $110 plus shipping , that was only 10 years back !
