Portmanteau Poor mans type  11"x11"x29"
I made this out of leather Scraps I got at a yard sale from a guy that makes medieval and martial arts armor $7.00, some upholstery tacks $3.00, Leather stain $4.00.. I already had the waxed thread, wood and leather glue...From a modified plan from the Book of Buck skinning II, I used 3/8 plywood scrap  instead of Masonite. I ordered 3 cheap leather belts at 3.95 each (Far Cheaper than I could get strap leather and buckles)...Thrift store Pillow ticking lining $1.00...Now I can take all my personal gear to events and not have to hide my Scout Backpack under a blanket in the tent thmbsup Plus I have another more or less period correct item for my kit.. I still need to put on the strap retainers..  But it does the On the Cheap thing well
