Bulldog lady and myself are planning to be there.  Look for us on the East side of camp near the main road and Buffalo Pens... Cabin tent this year

FALL TRADERS ENCAMPMENT

Authentic 1840's trader camps set up at our Mountain Man Camp. The public is welcome at no additional charge to view the customs and lifestyles of the early day trader's.

A bunch of the traders set up early and take a break to resupply at this event - Bulldog Lady and I are planning on setting up Tuesday or Wednesday - and I'll commute to school for the rest of the week...

They don't,  Black Mesa reaches 4,973 feet (1,516 m), the highest point in the state of Oklahoma  ... but these flatlanders have to have something to aspire too.... Remember I have spent time in Colorado, Alaska and other places were they actually have mountains...

We'll get you up here one of these days....!  Will be Spending some time with Roger & Elaine, & Pee from just outside of Dallas.

Bulldog Lady is safetly at Wool-A-Roc and I am home after setting up camp - I'll finish up this weeks schooling and then join her on Thursday or Friday....

She was told to take pictures so hopefully we can post some here when we get back!

     Thanks for the pictures.     WOW,  looks like Sasquatch was even there.  2nd picture  center there is a guy with green shirt, standing 25-30 ft appx  past the  guy with the kid on his shoulders and they look small compared to him.  William, are you sure you were not there with a wig?

Nope, shaved my beard off a long time ago, plus I look terrible in green.

The guy in the center of the picture?  Thats Tiny our blacksmith,  He stands 6'8 and weighs in about 350 or so... his arms are the size of my thighs.  He starts the forge about 7 am each morning and works straight through until about sundown making a variety of tools and impliments for the camps and tourists...

Plus he's 4 inches taller than I am........and green looks good on him. LOL!
