Title: Put together a new blade
Post by: woody on September 05, 2014
I picked this blade several months back at a local flea market and decided it would make a neat little dagger. I found the deer antler in my never throw it away box and put it together this morning. 10 in. overall, 6 in. blade.....now I'll have to dig through my leather scraps to make a sheath.  ;D

It sure came in handy now, didn't it?  It seems that every time I move I end up throwing away one of those boxes.

Very cool Woody. Do you have a picture of the blade before the handle?

I didn't think to take a blade photo but is as pictured with a threaded tang. I drill and shaped the antler where needed then screwed it into the handle with epoxy. .....like the old saying...one man's trash... ROFL
