very nice and they look to be warm
I really like this style. You do very nice work James!
Thanks all
Really fine looking. Where did you get your pattern? I would like to try making a pair....
right here but I found it to make them way to large. don't add the 1/2" it talks about and make them from some scrap cloth to check for fit. Once I had a good fit a used the cloth moc to make a new pattern. I can now make a pair in about 30 minutes. The wool felt lining is just a separate moc slipped in and sewed around the flap. That way they can be changed easily. Also slip you a pair of gel insoles between the leather and felt
Thanks much for the info. Will give it a go....Enjoy.

We make our's using patterns found on the site - just make a set out of somethng you can experiment with first. I used paper bags because I was going to be doing some spray painting and didn't want to ruin my shoes... Then made some out of some material for use as house slippers, before cutting into expensive leather - Still saving my pennies for some buffalo hide to make mocc's out of...
have a similar pair ! lined mine with wool flannel ! keeps the feet warm !
