Hopkins & Allen was the maker of underhammer rifles and they were, and are, still available in kit form. Numrich originally made the barrels for Hopkins & Allen. This is a Green Mountain barrel that was ordered with a new kit put out be Pecatonica, using the Hopkins & Allen pattern. The kit was never completed and the balance of the kit, action, stock and forearm were sold seperatley.
