I found one that a buddy isn't using so we made a trade and it's coming to live with my .50 Virginia flintlock now.

When I busted the ramrod on my BP shotgun I went to woodcrafters and got a real hickory rod... check them out the price wasn't half bad either

I have hickory ram rods, about 75-80 of the 3/8" but I haven't put the tips on yet. I'm sure I could help you some how.

I was at the AZ Ben Avery NMLRA shoot earlier this month, and a vendor had a bunch of nice hickory ram rod stock, he also sold the tips to. I think I spent about $5.00 for the two. Wish I'd have bought a few more just to have. Next time. dntn
