nicely made leather hunting bag that will fit into the late 18`th to mid 19`th century time frame ! main pouch is ten inches wide by 7 inches deep ! with a one inch gusset , inner pouch is six inches wide by four inches deep ! has a modified beaver tail flap with bound borders and a hand cast pewter button . the strap is adjustable for length , it`s one and one half inches wide made from woven hemp ( period correct) with leather ends , attached to the strap is a knife and scabbard the scabbard is made from six ounce oak tanned tooling leather and has a cross hatch pattern worked into it ! the knife is a century or more in age and is very sharp ! overall length is nine and one half inches , handle is bone and pewter ! very nice bag for the rendezvous scene or for just getting out there hunting or trekking !
