Thank you all for the warm welcome and I must say that coffee smells mighty fine! Just a bit about myself in the way of an introduction: I will be turning 67 in a couple of days (don't seem possible!) and am mostly retired (i.e. I don't get paid form my coffed breaks now :'( ). I just got started into muzzleloading a year ago this past June - I made the mistake of attending a monthly shoot at the local club. Now I'm hooked on the dang stuff...a lifer for sure. thmbsup
I currently shoot a .54 cal Cabela's(Investarms) Hawken, a .45 cal TC Patriot pistol and a fixer upper .45 cal H&A Heritage rifle - all caplocks (for now). I really enjoy replacing the store bought accouterments I started out with with ones I am learning to make myself. I particularly like the leather work and plan on trying my hand at horn carving and schrimshanding. I haven't made any period clothing yet, but that's on my list too (I like the mountain man era garb).
That's pretty much it for this ol' dog.
