A good while back I sent Doug a lefthanded rifle for his grandson, with clear instructions that he was to pay for it as he was able to, when he was able to, and that if it didn't happen in this lifetime the next would suffice.
Naturally I forgot all about it, and I would have gone to my grave none the wiser and honestly not caring even if I had, at some point, had a "Hmm" moment.
Payment for the rifle arrived out of the blue today.
Doug is an honest and honorable man, and that's the highest compliment I can pay anyone. Thank you, sir.

On the more serious side, meet ups like this make hanging out here worthwhile. My traveling days have been few lately but as soon as I can get back to financially making it happen, I plan to visit a few members myself. Ha, you have been warned.
Feel free to visit. Just don't know where I'll be. If med. condition allows I'll be retired in Flag. or North Idaho. Still hang firing about what life holds for me...

It is now official - I have no classes until the end of august. If Fiances allow we may do some travelling... So if you see a grey 2013 Ford F-150 with OK plates towing a Kodiak travel trailer pull along side and honk - It just might be me... thmbsup If we do travel I will post an itinerary...
