Title: Family needs some prayers
Post by: 45 Bravo on August 05, 2013
Hi, today we were granted custody of my 14 year old nephew, he is coming from an abusive, uncaring environment.
He will need all the help and prayers we can muster to help him adjust to a more normal environment.

We just got back from Alabama this evening and got word my wife's aunt died today in Louisiana, and the funeral is wednesday a.m.  so after a couple of hours at work tomorrow to catch the newspaper Up, we are on the road to Louisiana.

This aunt was a major influence in my wife's younger years, and helped raise her.

Please pray for my wife to help her through this tough time.

Thank you everyone..

Thank you everyone for the prayers.

The trip was mostly un eventful (minus a flat on the Natchez trace at night) but I always carry a plug kit and a pump in every car. It is faster to plug the ole and pump up the tire than use the donut that comes in cars now.

We attended the funeral in Newelton, la.  ((If you look on A map of Louisiana,/ Mississippi, from Natchez ms, go west find ferriday, la. Go north, there is nothing until you get to talulah on i20
Somewhere in between is Newelton,
I have never been to a graveyard in the middle of a corn field..

The preacher was from there, he grew up right beside the graveyard, his first job was mowing the grass there..

It was a very nice service.

In 30 hours, we spent 17 of it driving..

I have a severe case of fanny fatigue.
