Am getting ready to engrave the side plate on my trade pistol but am concerned about what subject matter to put on the dang thing.
I am a printmaker by trade so engraving is not daunting to me. Aside from doing hot naked chicks and skulls what's viable?
Examples I am seeing are nice but is it an open venue?
Can we have some examples of hot naked chicks? Purely for comparison purposes of course...

Not sure about pistol art, maybe floral designs Rifles are different. I would use bears, elk, deer, bison mountain lions, and such
I think the overall shape of most two-bolt sideplates lends itself to being adorned by a hot naked girl lying on her back, feet at rest against the curve of the forward bolt head. About where the plate protrudes upward to accomodate the rear lock bolt, would be the upper portion of her torso, if you get my drift (which I'm sure you do -- my depraved thinking isn't all that hard to figure out). I'm thinking Heidi Klum sunning herself on a nude beach in Europe somewhere.... A couple of seagulls wheeling in the air of the rearmost portion of the sideplate, if one MUST include an animal/bird motif of some sort....

I have been looking at the trekker guns' sideplate but thought what with this being my first build it's got to be stellar. But then I think i need to sink back down to reality and not overthink this bugger.
