In our area, the Permium basin, we are having a big oil boom. That cable spool fell of a truck and rolled into a cotton field across the road. After a couple of days I retrieved it for a work table. The anvil belonged to my grandfathers grandfather.  The forge belonged to my wife's grandfather. I am using wood for fuel.  Here are some cutting tools I have forged. At the right is a bearing race i am forging into a knife or other cutting tool.      (http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/bb108/RickFoster/45bce2ca-affe-457a-af8d-95505bfd2890.jpg)
