Title: Need a Hunting Partner
Post by: Ironwood on October 10, 2008
Looks like I'm going to need a hunting partner.  The young fellow I was going to hunt with has found a place closer to home.  I don't blame him with gas prices what they are now days.

I have a hunting lease near Corrigan, Texas.  I can take one guest with me.  Bag limit 10 squirrels a day.  2 Bucks and 2 Antlerless.  We also have an 8 day Muzzleloader season during January for doe and spikes.  Lots and lots of hogs.

Anyone interested drop me a IM or E-mail

Ironwod - I live in Waco, if you send me an email - at bootleatherllew@hotmail.com.  Perhaps we can work something out - I always liked the looks of east Texas just never got over to hunt there much.

Sherpa.... From Amarillo to my hunting lease it's just about 565 miles.  Not something you would want to try for a weekend hunt. :)

Sherpa, KHickman,  I posted this thread back in October of 2008.  I'm sorry but I'm no longer able to hunt. :(.  Last summer I sold the trailer I kept at the lease.  I have a few things to pick up down there when I'm able and then I won't be going back down there.  I've been in that lease since 1969.  :(

Red Badger.. in a few days would you please put this thread in the archives or delete it.   :(

Dern'

Any recommendations for the Crockett NF for hunting since you live really close to it?
