Title: Off to the range
Post by: hotfxr on May 04, 2013
It's 11:00 in the morning and already 75 outside. I am leaving to finally sight in all three rifles now that they have been all purtyed up and as far as I can tell, all held together without any chance of parts falling off. Of course the range is about and hour and a half away and it will probably top 100 by the time I get there.  pnic If I survive, I will report back with the results of my outstanding shooting ability, an uncanny excellence that makes other shooters cower with shame. Well at least I hope I can hit a target at 50 yards from a benchrest, anything is possible.

hdslp Well that was a lot of fun. Go to my friends house, load everything up in his truck, 90 minutes on the road, get signed in, park in front of the range, open the camper shell, his phone rings and after a short conversation we lock it back up and 90 minutes back home where I get to fix the geyser coming from his front yard where a pipe broke. And there was a nice breeze up at the range so it was cool and clear. ARGH! Maybe Monday.

Ah but look at the satisfaction of knowing you helped a friend in need!
