Well I decided that since my new flinter is getting closer to being done from Mongrel I needed a new bag.
Top flap is Mink fur from a vintage mink fur stole I came across, with elk rawhide, with hair on for trim on the bottom.
Bag is a mix of elk hide, cow hide and deer rawhide, with a little mink fur thrown in for fun. The claws are beaver, with vintage trade beads.
D rings I forged, and the strap was a thrift store find.
And rubbed down with bear fat for good measure.

What a good looking combo. And I really like your "D" rings with the twists, a nice extra custom touch.
Would love to know where you picked up those D rings. Great looking bag.
Two feathers, I forged the rings myself.
Very nice work. Thanks.
