Title: New Bag for my new .40 Flintock
Post by: woody on November 11, 2012
I thought I put together a simple bag for the new .40 cal. Southern rifle Mongrel is building for me. Nothing special, but I had just enough leather in the scrap bin to make it. I still may tinker with it down the road.

Why "day" bag? I never understood the term,"day" bag,"day" horn, ect. Why would you have 2 seperate rig's,"day" and 2+ days? Smaller caliber, smaller gear.

Just a small bag for a 2-3 hour trip to the field for tool pouch, some balls and patch material, but your right..just a basic bag...unlined, single pocket but functional and fun to make.......heck....I suppose you could even use it at night  hdslp
