Had our monthly shoot today, fairly good turnout, about 120 folks in all, probably had 50-60 down at our BP area. Here are a few picks of some of the yunguns. a good lookin' brunette and a fat hairy guy.

I always get a kick outa the peewees shootin !!
There was a little girl named Heaven there that the first time she shot a rifle was there with us....Her entire face just exploded with joy....She came back to shoot probably 10 times.
That makes what we do worthwhile!
Its times like those that make the effort worthwhile
Good going on's thar Bull gettem inturestted in guns young
lol water the garden
That second little dude in the camo cap is a crack shot, hits dead center at what he's aiming for every time. He was shootin' that fellers .44 pistol and hittin'a 1" wide stake from about 20 yards.
Great pics Bull. You are doing something real special for these kids and need to be commended! (http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n121/laffingman67/hatsoff.gif)
With the exception of Jerry and his 400 gran-kids ... well dozen or more
jokin Chaffa ... Roaring Bull is doing alot too introduce young shooters into blackpowder firearms...
May we all thank him for his efforts and the SPIRIT he has ...
a few weeks ago he felt he had nothing to offer ... little does he know ... he has the greatest gift and talent as any of us ...
He is the Craftsman of spirit and future.
lol Mr Bull
I gotta say, Bull. Teachin all those yunguns blackpowder safety takes alot of pateints. Very Commendable, Sir!
I think my wife gets the major part of that. The littlest kids wanted to shoot those deringers. She would load it and take it over for them and place it in their hands. IMMEDIATELY, they latched on to it SOOO tight she had trouble getting them to relax so that she could show them how to hold it and place their little fingers on the trigger. Plus the safety on them is kinda tricky so she alomst had a blister on her thumb from it...........But she loved every minute of it.
Great Pictures,,
I enjoy see kids getting interested in shooting and outdoor sports..
Great job RB !!
We have a website but all of the pictures are out-dated, I'm trying to get the lady that photographs all the shoots and update the pics. There is a page that has a lot prices on it, that we charge when private groups want to rent out the place and the equipment. That and donations are what we run the free shoots on every month.

Yeah I told him to move it before he pulled the trigger........did it every time he got up there to shoot it, but always moved it.......He'll forget one time and he then he'll know.....hope he don't forget.
Wow 50-60 shooters is quite a turnout. You are doin a good job getting them kids interested, we need more of that these days more than ever.
I missed the last month's shoot for a Royal Rangers Black Powder shoot and was told that 278 people in all showed up and that the folks in the bp tent were really whooped. Good news is 13 folks accepted the Lord.
Good news indeed!
At our church father son (or man/boy if no dad ) the black powder range is always the most most popular spot. It's a close race for second with the 410 single shot shotgun shoot. Both get kids and dads started with gunsmoke in the air. Any shooting sport shows them that guns are fun, safe, and sober activities. Also shows some for the first time that Christians can have fun. We let new kids/dads into our group campouts if invited by a member. No better way to spread the word of black powder and Christ than to have fun!!
A BIG AMEN SIR!!!!!!!
Well, we had our shoot and had a great great time. I actually took everything we needed except the camera. So, suffice it to say that the two rifles that Mike Lange built were VERY well recieved and fired flawlessly. We even had a group of special needs kids that liked the BP stuff more than the cartridge guns because we could set them up to where there was almost no kick, but lots of smoke.
