Title: Tied patch
Post by: Hawken50 on April 05, 2012
[hmm] Not busy today too much time to think.I seem to remember a picture in a book of a feller loadin up a frontstuffer with what looked like a ball with the patch wrapped around and tied at the end.Anybody else seen this.Should result in a quick reload............ but....... would the patch stay with the ball all the way to the target and wouldnt it affect accuracy.
Just thought i would get everybody's mind workin this day.

Your Cruel!   whipping

Looking at it logically, I would supose if you used the right thread it might burn off allowing the patch to depart the ball enrout to destination.  Then again maybe it would stay all the way and contaminate the target.  I vote Uncle Hawkins geive lady hHawkins a dozen patches and balls and asks her to stich them up for him to test....  pnic  We might even here the explosion here in Oklahoma....
