Nice work Hammerhead! I am in the process of building an inkle loom and would also like to try card weaving as well. My only issue so far is finding the corect yarn or thread?
When I ask at craft shops the look at me cockeyed and say I don't know you can use any kind of yarn! I'd likle to start with horn straps and have purchased what looks like cotton embroidery thread but not shinny, looks like very fine yarn about 1.60 a shank. Could you please recommend a type of yarn or wool or whatever I should be using!
Thanks

most of my stuff i make i use acrylic from walmart i just inform the buyer and it allows me to sell stuff cheaper. walmart also carrys a brand of cotton yarn it is small 150yard skeens i can remember the name brand i will get it tonight and post it on here but it is only 1.20 and easy to work it only took 6 skeens for me to make a 12'x3" sash. card weaving is also very fun i made a black guitar strap with white crosses it looks very nice

Thanks for the input Hammerhead, If you've done card weaving did you just use playing cards? or did you buy/make something more robust? How does the acrylic yarn hold up for bag/horn straps?
I appreciate the help!
