Been wanting to make a pair for quite some time and finally got around to starting on them. Not really a period correct pair, but I like where they are going so far. Based my pattern of a photo from the book Wildwood wisdom.
Can be worn down,

Or up

I only have the one done so far, but I'm torn between dying the top to match the bottom or leave it as is. I kind of like the contrast.

Hey, you've done a fine job in my book. Remember, this is Traditional Muzzle loading on the Cheap, not the "Expensive, 100% Historically Correct Forum".
Nice work! They look real good.. thmbsup
Nice looking Mocs. How do they walk?(How do they feel while walkin?)
Those look really good better than I have done.
What makes them not period correct?
Maybe not entirely "correct" as you say, but pretty good job! I'd wear 'em!
