Title: Edge Dressing on bags
Post by: Mongo40 on December 12, 2011, 08:23:49 PM
What size of leather are you using to dress the edges of your bags??? I know it has to be thin leather or is there something specific for the edge dressing. Thanks
Chris

Hey Mongo I used a 4 to 5 oz leather to dress the edge of the bag you inspired. It is also the weight of the leather that the bag is made of but if you use a heavier one to make the bag the 4 to 5 works really well it is light but not to light

Thanks, the last bag I made was out of 3/4oz leather an i just used it for the edges also, with a thin strip of leather in the fold of it to give it a round shape.
