Hi all,
I figured it was time to try sewing up some stuff for my kit. I had a very patient teacher who would tell me how to do something without doing it for me :applause:
I started with Missouri river patterns for the breechclout and leggings. I made the clout out of wool with a flannel lining and the leggings are cotton duck with a red flannel stripe front and back of the seam. I
trimmed the 'wings' to be more appropriate for eastern use., I couldn't post till I had the shirt done this weekend cause the glare was (susp). There are a couple members here who will don welding goggles
next time they get an e-mail from me pnic
The shirt is also cotton duck but I have found a great deal on red and Forest green coating wool. I will need to learn to steer a little better. I didn't know that you could wear out a seam ripper [hmm]
Nicely done! And no glare! chrrs
